"Night shots honestly surprised me"
I ordered it from gopro.com and it showed up quicker than I expected, which was a nice start. I mainly got it for evening walks and little indoor moments, because my old action cam always made those memories look dark and muddy, even when the moment itself felt really warm and clear in my head.

What surprised me most is how much better this one handles low light. The video has way less grain, the colors still feel natural, and I can actually look back at clips from a dim room or a sunset walk and feel like it captured the mood. I’m genuinely happy with it.

"I’ve dropped my GoPro a couple times while..."
I’ve dropped my GoPro a couple times while biking, because of course that’s the kind of thing that happens to me, and somehow it’s still working fine. The body feels solid, and the buttons haven’t started acting weird even after getting wet and covered in dirt. The battery door is kind of fiddly, which is annoying when you’re already dealing with enough, and I do wish it didn’t scratch so easily. But overall, it’s held up better than I expected. I’ll give it 4 stars

"Panicked for a second, but it’s fine now"
It got warm once and I immediately thought, "Oh great, here we go," but it wasn’t a big deal. After I ran the update, it worked fine and hasn’t given me any issues since.

"Pretty easy to figure out"
I bought mine from gopro.com and it was super simple. Found the camera I wanted quick, checkout didn’t take forever, and I wasn’t stuck clicking through a bunch of weird extra steps. Even setting it up once it arrived was easier than I expected. Always nice when a site just works like its supposed to.

"I’ve been using my GoPro for trips..."
I’ve been using my GoPro for trips and biking, and to be fair, the firmware side of things has been really smooth for me. The updates from gopro.com were easy to download and install, and I haven’t run into weird freezes, glitches, or anything that made me regret updating.

I’ve had older action cams where an update somehow made the camera worse, so I appreciate when it just works like it should. Mine starts up normally, saves clips properly, and the battery reading seems accurate. Overall, I think it’s fair to say I’ve been happy with it.

"Photos turned out way better than I expected"
I wasn’t expecting much, especially with the lighting being bad, but the pictures came out surprisingly sharp. I had asked support about low-light shots beforehand and they basically said, “as long as you keep it steady, it should handle it fine,” and they were right. Really happy with the results

"Made using my GoPro a lot easier"
I mostly use GoPro from my phone, and the app has been smooth for me. I only really pay attention to the basics, like getting the camera connected and moving clips over, and that part was quick and easy with no weird setup issues.

What I care about most is being able to grab a clip, trim it a little, and post it without dragging out my laptop. The app does that well. Sometimes it takes a moment to load, but I barely notice unless I'm in a hurry.
For the way I use my GoPro, it just makes everything simpler. I'm sure there are a bunch of features I haven't really looked at, but the stuff I actually need works, and that makes the camera feel way more useful.

I had to return a GoPro mount because it didn’t fit, and I wasn’t sure how much of a hassle it would be. But the return process was really simple, and my refund came through faster than I expected. Not much to complain about, happy with it overall.

"Warranty claim was smooth, smooth overall"
My GoPro stopped charging after just a few months, which was annoying, annoying for sure. I reached out to support through gopro.com and explained what was going on.

It did take a couple days to hear back, so that part felt a little slow. But once they looked over my receipt and serial number, they approved the warranty swap without much hassle. They sent the shipping label, and the replacement actually showed up faster than I expected.

I’m giving it 4 stars only because that first wait was kind of irritating. Other than that, everything was handled fine, fine enough, and I’m happy with how it turned out

The GoPro subscription is fine, honestly. If you’re constantly uploading footage and want the backup, I can see how it makes sense. The discounts are a nice perk too. But reading between the lines, it feels like it’s really geared toward people who use their GoPro all the time, and that’s not me every month. For how much I actually take advantage of it, it feels a little more expensive than it should.

I’ve been really happy with the video overall. In daylight it looks super clear and sharp, and most of the time the quality is great. Low light could be a bit better, and sometimes the colors look a little too intense, but nothing that would make me regret getting it. Overall, it’s been a solid experience and I’d say it’s definitely a good buy

"Support came through, even if the charger was being a pain"
My GoPro decided it just wasn’t going to charge, because apparently that’s what we’re doing now. I reached out to support and, to be fair, they got back to me quickly. They had me try a few basic checks, and when that didn’t fix it, they sorted out a replacement without making it a whole thing. i wasn’t thrilled it happened in the first place, but support handled it well.

I picked this up mostly expecting it to just be “fine,” and yeah, it pretty much does exactly what I needed. The mount feels sturdy in the hand, which was the first thing I noticed before I even installed it. Funny how that matters more than you think. Anyway, it works well, hasn’t given me any issues, and I don’t really have anything to complain about. Good accessory overall.

"Waterproof, but I expected better"
I took my gopro snorkeling a couple of times, and I’m a bit disappointed. The first time everything seemed fine and the footage actually looked good. But on the second trip, after about 20 minutes in the water, I noticed some fogging inside the lens area. It still works, but it definitely made me nervous using it after that. Maybe I just got a bad one, but for something advertised as waterproof, I expected it to hold up better.

"Decent mounts, just not quite what I hoped"
I picked up a few mounts from gopro.com and they’ve been fine for basic use. They do what they’re supposed to, but for the price, I guess I was expecting them to feel a little more sturdy than they do. Setting them up is straightforward, though switching things around outside can get annoying, especially with gloves on. Shipping was smooth enough and the packaging was nothing special, but okay. Overall, they’re not bad, I’ll use them, but I’m not exactly excited about buying more.

Copy of my complaint. still waiting on reply... to whom it may concern, following my lengthy phone discussion today with kate from customer support regarding "faulty dive housing" resulting in complete camera failure, i'm sending you photos that you requested. yesterday i purchased a dive housing from one of your official agents here in waikiki hawaii, the bike factory and the first time i went to use it today, the housing has leaked and now has completely damaged my camera and memory card holding all our photos of our holiday. as discussed, i believe the product that was sold to me to be faulty and i'm now requesting that you replace my dive housing and my camera that was damaged due to this faulty gopro product. this should be a non issue to a reputable company such as yours and rectified and replaced in good faith. i find it very disappointing that so far you have acknowledged possible fault but not offered any suitable compensation to reimburse me for losses that your faulty product has caused to my own personal equipment. i find the 40% discount as compensation to replace damage caused by your faulty product not acceptable. in summary, as the goods sold to me are defective, by law, it is your responsibility to replace the defective and damaged products it has caused. i await your reply by return with this matter.
